HURRICANE HIGH AG PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission Statement of the Agriculture Program at Hurricane High school is three fold.
1) SAE To provide students with hands on real life learning opportunities that will develop life skills that prepare them for a career. The best source of this knowledge is gained through Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAE’s).
2) CLASS To educate and build knowledge about production agriculture techniques and skills. The future of agriculture and our natural resources depend upon the education of young America; this program will strive to provide ethical, sound understanding for the purpose of making American agriculture a better marketplace.
3) FFA In addition to the classroom atmosphere, students will be encouraged to join the FFA and participate in FFA activities and leadership opportunities. The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. Leadership skills are principles learned that can be used in all aspects of life
